nuvvu vinnadi correctee.. its nuduru only.. i have googled it.. just to confirm.. in older poetry.. they used to use compare nudhuru with nelavanka... due to shape anedi general idea.. so nidhuru here refers to new moon, nela vanka.. another example: If somebody tells a girl "nee visaalamaina nadumu.." it immediately looks like u are calling the girl fat... but actually.. it is a compliment.. visaalam acoording to olden days telugu poetry means soonyam.. or nothingness... so actully they mean to say "nee undi lenattu unde nadumu.."
So it's "nuduru lanti"?? But it sounnds like D.. Laadi??? I think I heard that once.. "vishalamaina nadum" I thought I heard it wrong! But yeah it's very misleading and nice!!!
Manam mathrame maro kotta janma... Is that what it means??
mmmmmmmmmmmmm...one of my fav songs :) and nee telugu handwriting chusi chala rojulayindhi..ii roju oka secret chepthunnaa..m a big fan of ur handwriting :)) I lovd d way u wrote in telugu in my autograph buk!
s that blank is "nuduru".. And reg d last line ..hope my half an hr lecture helped!;)
@cvsr I never thought there was a hidden implication like that! You are so into this.. poetry i mean! That song if you take it literally, it is plain complaining! But the tone of it says something so different... What is the word for that? Mubhaavam kaadu..there is so much tenderness and love and i dono.. What is it?
Sirivennela lo migatha anni paatalu chaala baavunna... aadibhikshuvu and vidhaata talapuna are amazing.... :) maa daddy cheta malli meaning cheppinchu kunta :D i love the way he explains :D
Why? Why do you do this to me?! Ignorance is a bliss and I love living in that bliss! You people point out lines that are so seriously deep and complicated... I don't understand them and now that you mention them I grow curious and crazy! I want to know what they mean now! Why?! Waaaah!!! :-(

ReplyDeletemaname maro kotha janmam pondeti bandhaalaku..

starting a new life as US.. not me and you.. but US...
and if u are wondering about continuity read it like this...
maname maro kottha janmam pondeti bandhalaku, sampoornamayyenduku.. sarigaa adey subhamuhurtham...
hope this question is answered..
So it's "nuduru lanti"?? But it sounnds like D.. Laadi???

ReplyDeleteActually this was the first! The very first! :) :)
ReplyDeleteBack when we used to talk "civilly" with each other!! :D
we were never civil towards each other :P
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, we were... A long, long time ago!
ReplyDeleteThanks both of for taking time to reply! 2×Thanks for explaining your answers too!
long long tym ago was nt good..nyways I was nvr for the 'civilised' n 'formal' interactions :D :D
ReplyDeleteone more point i wud like to add...
ReplyDeletesirivennela does this many times...
read the first line of last charanam.. only the first line
ye naadaithe ee jeevitham, rettimpu baruvekkuno..
idi maathrame chadivithe, anyone will interpret in the negative way.. jeevitham lo baruvu perigithe munduku saagatam kashtam... basic logic..
but the second line negates all of that! right??
a very simple example of a similar feature by sirivennala comes from the movie sirivennela itself..
aadi bhikshuvu vaaDinedi aDigedi
booDidichhe vaaDinedi kOredi?
sivudini kinchaparusthunatta?? leka unavanni manake ichhesaadu aayana antunatta??...
only he can play with simple words like this!! :)
and sandy raakshasi!! u wrote in her slam book and not mine... chachhav chudu naa chetilo!!! deyyam!!!

mukha preeti koreti uggu sankarudu..vaadinedi koredi?
mukkanti..mukkopi..mukkanti mukkopi thikka sankarudu
my fav lines frm the same film:
Song: merisetharaladhe roopam..
praanam puttuka praaniki theliyaala?
gaanam puttuka gaathram chudala?
vedhurunu murali ga malachi..ii vedhurunu murali ga malachi
naalo jeevana naadam palikina neeve na praana spandana..
neeke na hrudaya nivedana..
manasuna koluvai mamathala nelavai velasina devi di ea roopam?
naa kannulu chudani roopam..gudilo devatha prathi roopam..
nee roopam..apurupam
:) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteThat seems to be the only reaction I can muster now! I'm already listening to that song.. Need I say more?
I have a new found respect for movies... I have that everytime I get deep into these discussions...
